Education is a lifelong process. In order to make it fruitful and sustainable, it needs continuous development. Education Development Centers achieve their goals through various services such as Curriculum Development, Organization Development, Instructional Development, Human Resources Development and Research. The EDC at the CHS was established in 1978. It is one of the professional centers accredited by the WHO. It is a specialized resource center which assists the College of Health Sciences (CHS) in achieving its mission and improving its educational objectives.


The goal of the EDC is to function as a technical, professional and educational resource center for the CHS and the Ministry of Health (MOH). It provides services and expertise for the development of teaching and learning processes.
