  • Pharmacy Technician

    The Pharmacy Technician program (PHA) qualifies students with the Associate Degree in Health Sciences.
    The major objective of this program is to prepare knowledgeable trained pharmacy technicians who are competent to assume responsibilities in dispensing, compounding, storing and manufacturing of medicines and related items under supervision in pharmacies, factories and other areas of drug management such as medical stores and quality control. Through its curriculum, the Pharmacy Technician Program aims at giving the student both a basic professional education and scientific training in the various pharmaceutical operations so that they can meet professional responsibilities with proficiency and scientific comprehension.

    The program is offered over a period of 5 semesters. Students must earn 66 credit hours in order to graduate.
