The English Language Department plays an important role in motivating and improving the students’ English language competencies at different levels. Its basic goal is to improve the learners' skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing in English and to equip them with a wide range of Medical Terminology to enable them to successfully follow College courses and communicate freely through the medium of English. The Department also endeavors to lay a firm foundation for postgraduate training, vocational studies and for communicative purposes in job environments.
The Department offers two categories of English Language Programs - Regular English Programs for students at the College and Continuing English Programs for a wider clientele.
Generally, at all levels, the Department seeks to broaden the learners' language base and application of English both for academic and professional purposes.
