Year 2007 Awards

 

  • Dean's Honors List
    At the end of each semester students excelling in their studies are eligible for inclusion in the Dean’s Honors List. To be eligible for this honor, a student must maintain a GPA of 3.5 or above in all courses while carrying at least the minimum number of courses for a full-time course load.


  • Honors at Graduation
    Students are awarded distinction at graduation for excelling in their studies. Such honors are noted on the certificates and transcript. In order to be eligible for distinction, the student must not fail any course and must obtain an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.5 and above.


  • Student Awards By Program
    Students excelling in their respective programs are eligible for the following awards which are presented at Graduation ceremonies and are named after prominent figures and/or sponsors. In order to receive an award, a student should be the first in the class with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 and above.

    1. Nursing
      • Her Highness Shaikha Hessa Prize for Community Health Nursing
      • His Excellency Mr. Jawad S. Al-Arrayed Prize for BS Nursing Program
      • Fatima Al-Zayani Prize for Midwifery
      • Ishaq bin Omran Prize for Psychiatric Nursing
      • Rafida Bint Saad Al-Aslamiya Prize for General Nursing
      • Ibn Al-Nafees Prize for Cardiac Care Nursing
      • Ommaya Qurabi Al-Tajer Prize for Emergency Nursing


    2. Allied Health
      • Abu Rayhan Al-Bayronni Prize for Pharmacy
      • Ali Bin Al-Farabi Prize for Public Health
      • Muhammad Bin Zakariya Al Razi Prize for Medical Laboratory
      • Ibn Sina Prize for Radiography
      • His Excellency Dr. Ali Fakhro Prize for Medical Equipment Maintenance and Repair
      • Al-Sahabi Zaid Bin Thabit Prize for Medical Secretary
      • Abo Yousif Yaqoub Al-Kindi Prize for Sports/Physio Therapy
      • Abdul Qassim Al-Zahrawi Prize for Dental Hygiene


    3. Teacher Development
      • Abu Abdulla Moh’d Al-Edreesi Prize
